Created by filmmaker Dallas Jenkins, the series is known for grounded performances, practical locations, and attention to historical detail. It built a global audience through direct to fan distribution, community screenings, and wide platform availability, which makes it a useful benchmark for faith centered productions that want both scale and intimacy. We reference it here as inspiration, not as a project we worked on.
